Containment Ventilated Enclosure
Cleatech’s Powder Containment Hood (Compounding Ventilated Enclosure) is designed to provide environmental and personnel safety. Our powder containment hoods meet USP 800 and CCS 1735 requirements and can be used for non-sterile compounding of hazardous drugs.
Powder Containment Hoods/Ventilated Enclosures are constructed of corrosion-resistant polypropylene and are available in 24″, 32”, 36” and 48” width models.
The adjustable fan and filtration system protects operators during powder weighing, pharmaceutical compounding and measuring drug dosages.
We offer units with a single or double filter. Single filter units must be hard ducted to an external exhaust system via the duct port. Double filter units are designed for applications that require a portable unit or need a ductless containment hood. The integrated fan module pulls air from the work area, away from the operator and through a HEPA to remove harmful particulates. Once filtered, the air is either released into the exhaust system or the work environment depending on the model you choose.
Located at the back of the hood, the rear baffle (slotted panel) is designed to reduce turbulence and ensure that the work area is well ventilated. The removable airfoil is located at the front of the hood face and allows more even airflow into the hood by limiting sharp curves that can create turbulence.
